Understanding the Client’s Needs
Global approached us with a clear requirement: a space that could serve as a dedicated area for prayer and quiet reflection for employees of different faiths. The solution needed to be compact yet spacious enough for comfortable use, acoustically optimised to ensure privacy, and designed with high-quality materials that would complement the modern aesthetics of the XYZ Building.
After an initial consultation, we proposed a dual multifaith booth—two separate yet interconnected spaces that would allow individuals to pray or reflect in a private, peaceful environment without disruption.
Designing the Dual Multifaith Booth
Our design team focused on several key elements:
Acoustic Performance: The booth had to provide a high level of sound attenuation to create a quiet and respectful environment.
Customisation: To align with global’s workspace aesthetics, we offered a selection of materials and finishes. The final choice included soft ambient lighting, and a neutral colour scheme that blended seamlessly with the surroundings.
Functionality: Each booth was designed to accommodate a kneeling mat and a small shelf for religious texts or personal belongings. And a curtain for additional privacy.
Accessibility: The booths were designed with inclusivity in mind, providing ample space for users with different needs.
Manufacturing with Precision
Once the design was finalised, we moved into the manufacturing phase. Our skilled production team meticulously crafted the booth components using our Modulise system, ensuring precision in every detail. The Pod sections were made to exact specifications, and the sub framework was assembled with durable, sustainably sourced materials.
Quality control was a priority at every stage. Before install, we conducted thorough testing to ensure the acoustic integrity and functionality of the booth met our stringent standards.
Seamless Installation at the XYZ Building
The installation process at the XYZ Building was carried out with minimal disruption to global’s daily operations. Our installation team coordinated with the building management team to ensure a smooth setup (and we must say, they were super-helpful with install).
Within just a few hours, the dual multifaith booth was fully operational, ready to provide employees with a quiet and inclusive space for reflection and prayer.
