A Sound Transformation at Cornerstone Café, Menston

Organic acoustic panels that double as art!

We’ve just wrapped up a beautiful acoustic installation at the ever-popular Cornerstone Café in Menston – and the results are both visually stunning and acoustically transformative.

The café, known for its warm community vibe, had been struggling with excessive noise levels that made conversation tricky during peak hours. With a high, angled ceiling amplifying the sound, it was time for a solution that would bring calm to the space without compromising its character

Our answer? A series of organic, leaf-shaped acoustic ceiling panels, suspended at varying heights from the café’s striking sloped ceiling. The panels not only soften and absorb sound, but their layered, sculptural form brings a real sense of movement and elegance to the room.

Once installed, Jo our client was delighted – describing the final result as looking “more like an art installation” than a functional acoustic fix. And best of all, the difference in sound levels was immediate. The café is now a more comfortable, calmer space where conversation flows freely – without the echo.
